Ljungberg may miss Euro 2008

Fredrik Ljungberg could be missing out for Sweden at Euro 2008 after he suffered a cracked rib in the 2-2 draw between West Ham and Newcastle in the Premiership.

Ljungberg was stretchered off in a first half clash with Newcastle defender Steven Taylor.

"I think Taylor has tried to leapfrog him and landed on him. He has been raked all down the side and front of his face, and cracked a rib," said Curbishley. "That's another one out for us, but we are hoping he will be okay for the Euros."
