Liverpool for Marcelo Moreno?

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Cruzeiro's impressive young talent Marcelo Moreno. The 20 year old Bolivian has been in great form so far this season and has represented the Bolivia international team.

"We have received some tentative enquiries in the last few weeks from clubs that are interested in signing Marcelo Moreno, but we are yet to receive an official approach for his services," Cruzeiro communications director Guilherme Mendes told Globo Esporto.

"Shakhtar Donetsk were one of the teams that made contact with us. He is the top-scorer in the Libertadores, and has been one of the prominent players in the Mineiro, so it was only a matter of time.

"There have been a number of enquiries about him, but we fully expected this to be the case."
