Ferguson rues bad decisions

Sir Alex Ferguson has rued the bad decisions that the Man Utd manager believes have meant United have to secure the title on the final day. Ferguson looked concerned in a press conference in preparation of the visit of Barcelona to Old Trafford.

"We've had some bad decisions against us. But here we are sitting here at this moment and it doesn't matter about these decisions which are in the past," said Ferguson, referring to a feisty encounter against Chelsea on Saturday.

"When we started out in the league in August, it was to win the league. We signed on to play 38 league games, and we're going to play 38 league matches. If it means we need to win the last two to win the league, so be it.

"Where we are now - with two games left - it doesn't matter what happened in the past, whether we had 50 penalty kicks turned down, or 30 given to us, or terrible performances all season or great performances.

"We're sitting here with two games left. We have a semi-final tomorrow, a home game on Saturday and a game against Wigan away. Disaster!"
