Newcastle chase Gomis

Newcastle are reportedly in the market for St.Etienne forward man Bafetimbi Gomis who had been the subject of interest last summer and even this January when Aston Villa were linked with the player.

Gomes has scored 14 goals in 31 games for St. Etienne and is hoping to make a swift move to the Premiership.

Ligue 1 giants Marseille and Spanish outfit Sevilla are also chasing the forward.

It is understood that Newcastle are preparing an incredible £14 million offer for Gomis.
