Man Utd defender linked with shock move to Napoli
Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has been linked with a surprise move to Napoli this summer.
The Sweden international has been a regular starter for the Red Devils in central defence, but his game time could reduce next term.
Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane are already ahead of him in the pecking order while Eric Bailly has recently impressed in pre-season.
Meanwhile, Lisandro Martinez is expected to join the club from Ajax soon, and he will be expected to play more regularly than the Swede.
Amidst this, RAI Sport claim that Napoli are considering an approach for Lindelof, and believe he can be signed for around €27 million.
Lindelof was an undisputed starter for the Red Devils at one stage in his career, but the competition for places have increased signficantly.
With the World Cup around the corner, he could be tempted to pursue a fresh challenge with Napoli, where he would be guaranteed a starting role.
Napoli are actively looking for a new centre-back after their decision to sell club favourite Kalidou Koulibaly to Chelsea earlier this month.
