AC Milan and Roma want to sign Man Utd star
AC Milan and Roma are both interested in signing Manchester United defender Eric Bailly this summer, Gianluca Di Marzio claims.
The Ivorian has impressed for the Red Devils in pre-season friendlies, but it is quite clear that he won't be starting Premier League games.
He is currently behind Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane in the pecking order under Erik ten Hag.
Barring an injury crisis, he is unlikely to play regularly. Hence, it won't be a surprise if he leaves the club before the transfer deadline.
Milan and Roma are both in the mix to land his services, and the latter may have an advantage due to the presence of Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho was United's manager when Bailly was signed back in 2016, and it has been claimed that the defender would prefer a reunion.
United signed Bailly for £34 million from Villarreal, but they are looking for just around £10 million to sanction his departure this summer.
