Callum Hudson-Odoi wants to leave Chelsea
Chelsea attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi has revealed his desire to leave the club this summer, Fabrizio Romano claims.
The England international has been a squad player for the Blues over the past 18 months, and he is now eager to play regularly.
A loan exit seems a likely option this summer, and Romano has revealed that Southampton are one of the clubs interested.
Hudson-Odoi was once regarded as one of the best youngsters in English football, but has not developed as anticipated.
Injuries hampered his early progress, and under manager Thomas Tuchel, he has barely got a consistent run of appearances.
A move away from Stamford Bridge could help his development, and the Saints would be an ideal club for him to prosper.
Hudson-Odoi has also been linked with a number of clubs in Germany, but he is said to be keen on proving himself in English football.
The Saints could offer him that platform with assured minutes in their attack.
