Ismaila Sarr set for Leeds move

Leeds United will wrap up a deal to sign Senegal winger Ismaila Sarr from Watford this weekend, with the Elland Road outfit paying a reported £24 million to secure the former Metz and Rennes attacker.  Sarr scored 24 goals in 91 games for Watford and was a hugely popular player with the club's fans.

Even this season, Sarr already has 1 goal in 2 games, and he will leave the Vicarage Road side as one of the club's best players in recent times, including an impressive Premier League campaign last year in which he scored 5 goals in 22 appearances.

Leeds are familiar with Sarr, having already made a bid to sign him from Rennes in 2020, unfortunately for the club then they missed out on the player, as the versatile player opted to move to London instead.

Leeds' manager Jesse Marsch is ready to sign at least 3 new players before the transfer window slams shut, and the arrival of Sarr will be at least half of the funds received from the sale of Raphinha to Barcelona earlier in the summer.
