Graham Potter makes Romelu Lukaku transfer decision

Romelu Lukaku news

Lukaku not in Potter's plans

Chelsea manager Graham Potter has no plans of welcoming Romelu Lukaku back at the club next summer.

The Belgium international rejoined the Blues from Inter Milan for £97m last season, but was disappointing for them with just 15 goals.

As a result, Lukaku was loaned back to the Nerazzurri this summer, and it appears he has no future with Chelsea despite the change of manager.

Potter recently replaced Thomas Tuchel as the new boss, but Calciomercato report that the Belgian does not fit into his first-team plans either.

Chelsea did not include an option to buy for Lukaku, but they are hopeful that Inter will make a purchase proposal at the end of the campaign.

Lukaku made an impressive start to the season for Inter with one goal and one assist from three games, but he is currently out with a muscle injury.

The setback does not appear serious, and he could return to first-team action when Milan restart their league campaign after the international break.
