Liverpool interested in signing Mykhaylo Mudryk
Liverpool have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race to sign Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk in the New Year.
The Gunners were heavily interested in the youngster this summer, but they decided against meeting Shakhtar's valuation.
The north Londoners were willing to pay €35 million for the youngster, but Shakhtar were firm on their €50m asking price.
Since the transfer deadline, Mudryk has been in spectacular form in the Champions League with two goals and two assists.
He is likely to attract fresh interest from the Gunners at the turn of the year, but they won't be alone in the pursuit of his services.
According to Calciomercato, Jurgen Klopp's side are keeping a close eye on his progress, and could make an approach for him.
The Reds bolstered their attack this summer with Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho, but Klopp wants another marquee signing.
Mudryk does not come with a big reputation, but he is certainly making a name for himself in the ongoing European campaign.
