Liverpool midfielder backed to impress Jurgen Klopp
Liverpool midfielder Arthur Melo has been backed to impress manager Jurgen Klopp by his representative.
The Brazilian joined the Reds from Juventus on loan before the transfer deadline. It was somewhat of a panic signing.
There are already suggestions that Klopp is not impressed with him and the club could terminate his loan deal this winter.
Amidst this, his agent Federico Pastorello has said that Arthur is still adapting and everyone at the club is happy with him.
He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "The first few weeks are normal for adaptation and the recovery of [a player's] physical condition"
"Everyone is very happy with him. He has given up his holidays to stay in Liverpool to work. Soon, he will be at 100 per cent."
Liverpool were initially keen on landing Denis Zakaria on loan from Juventus, but were put off by the loan package.
Chelsea eventually signed the Switzerland star, and it remains to be seen whether either of those players can make an impact.
Both midfielders have been signed with buy clauses. Juventus will be hoping that the duo can impress sufficiently this term.
