Manchester United have reportedly set a price tag for Diogo Dalot amid the uncertainty surrounding his contract status.

The Portuguese has been the regular choice at right-back for United this term and is now considered as an undisputed starter.

United are likely to open contract talks with him soon, but fresh interest from Barcelona could entice Dalot to reconsider his options.

Dalot's current deal expires in the summer of 2023, but United have the option to extend his stay by another 12 months with a clause.

They are expected to trigger it before the New Year, but the big question remains whether they can convince Dalot to renew further.

If not, United may have no option but to sanction his sale. Sport claim that the Red Devils could accept around £22m for his services.

Aside from Dalot, United face a similar situation with several players including Marcus Rashford, who is now an assured starter.

The England star has transformed his career under Erik ten Hag.
