Chelsea make Rafael Leao transfer decision
Chelsea will prioritise a move for AC Milan forward Rafael Leao this winter, according to The Mirror.
The Blues were strongly linked with the Portugal international over the summer, but could not convince Milan to sell him.
They were willing to pay £65 million for his services, but the Rossoneri were looking for a fee in the region of £100 million.
However, this has not ended the Blues' pursuit of Leao and The Mirror claim that the London giants will return for him in January.
Leao is about to enter the final 18 months of his contract with Milan and he has no plans of penning a renewal at the moment.
His contract impasse could lead to a January departure and Chelsea are fully prepared to capitalise on the uncertain situation.
Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo has also been linked with the club, but manager Graham Potter is said to favour Leao.
While Ronaldo has rich experience, he is past his best. Leao, on the other hand, is just entering the prime of his playing career.
