Man Utd identify perfect replacement for Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United have identified Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong as a potential replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka this winter.

Erik ten Hag has preferred Diogo Dalot as his right-back throughout the campaign. Wan-Bissaka has been limited to just four minutes.

The Englishman's lack of attacking intent has been a reason and reports claim that he could be sold or loaned out at the beginning of the year.

In that case, United will obviously pursue a replacement and Sky Sport Germany cite that Frimpong is the number one target for the club.

The Dutchman has been in sensational form for Leverkusen this season, bagging five goals and two assists from just 15 appearances.

He has operated in both the right-back and right wing-back roles and it is claimed that his style of play fits the requirement of Ten Hag.

Frimpong has excelled in the final third for Leverkusen this term, but has also been effective in the defensive half with several key tackles.
