Erik ten Hag provides fresh update on Cristiano Ronaldo
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo is available to face Sheriff Tiraspol tomorrow.
The Portuguese was recently suspended for the Chelsea game after having refused to come on as a late substitute against Tottenham Hotspur.
After clear-the-air talks on Tuesday, Ronaldo was back in training and Ten Hag has now confirmed his availability for Thursday's clash.
Ronaldo has started every Europa League game for United this season and he is widely expected to lead the line against Sheriff tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Harry Maguire, Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are also back in first-team training for United after respective injuries.
The trio could make the matchday squad against Sheriff. United need just one point to ensure qualification to the next round of the competition.
However, they may need to win both of their remaining group games in order to leapfrog Real Sociedad, who are three points ahead of them.
Ten Hag is expected to pick a strong starting line-up owing to this.
