Arsenal and Man Utd handed striker boost?

Jonathan David news

David to Arsenal or Man Utd?

Arsenal and Manchester United have been handed a boost in signing Lille striker Jonathan David in the New Year.

The Canadian has been in superb form in the French top-flight this term with nine goals and three assists from 12 appearances.

His form has caught the eye of several elite clubs but L'Equipe claim that he prefers a move to the Premier League next year.

The news will come as a huge boost for the Gunners and Red Devils, who may want to bolster their squad further in January.

The Gunners are presently top of the league standings and they are eyeing another high-profile attacker in the New Year.

United also have a similar transfer plan. They are eyeing a versatile forward with the prospect of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving.

David has played as the main striker for Lille this term, but he is also capable of playing out wide or in the number 10 position.

He could be available for around €50-60 million this winter.
