Chelsea leading race to sign Endrick?

Chelsea are among three European clubs that are leading the race to sign Brazilian wonderkid Endrick, Standard Sport claim.

The 16-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest talents in Brazilian football and the Blues are pressing to sign him.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also in contact, but the Blues are hopeful of beating them to the teenager's services.

As per Standard Sport, the club have held multiple meetings with the youngster and are optimistic of luring him to London.

Endrick's father Douglas will make the final decision and it remains to be seen whether Chelsea can secure a pre-agreement.

A deal could be agreed as early as the winter transfer window, but Endrick can only join the club when he turns 18 in July 2024.

Chelsea are planning for the long-term future and have already signed several teenagers under new owner Todd Boehly.

Carney Chukwuemeka, Cesare Casadei and Gabriel Slonina all joined the Blues during the recently-concluded transfer window.
