Carlton Cole to Boro?

Middlesbrough have been linked with a move for West Ham forward Carlton Cole in the summer transfer window for a rumoured £2 million fee.

Cole signed a four-year deal before the 2006-07 season and has repeatedly stated his desire to stay in London.

However, Gareth Southgate is keen to add more strikers to his squad and Carlton Cole has apparently been formally set as a summer target.
