Chelsea planning €100m bid for Serie A sensation?

Chelsea are reportedly planning a huge bid to sign AC Milan star Rafael Leao during the January transfer window.

The Blues were interested in landing the Portuguese last summer, but Milan did not entertain any late bids for him.

However, the London giants could return for his services in the New Year and it is claimed that he could be sold for €100m.

Leao has snubbed a new deal with the Rossoneri and he will enter the final 18 months of his contract at the turn of the year.

Milan are likely to consider his sale if the opportunity arises. It remains to be seen whether the Blues meet their price tag.

The Blues were willing to pay €70m last summer and they will need to offer much more to prise him away next month.

Aside from Chelsea, Manchester United are also deemed to be monitoring him ahead of a possible transfer approach.

Leao has reportedly opened the door for a Premier League move.
