Chelsea to hijack Arsenal's move for Mudryk?
Chelsea are open to hijacking Arsenal's pursuit of Mykhaylo Mudryk during the ongoing transfer window.
The Gunners are currently locked in negotiations with Shakhtar for the highly-rated winger and they are optimistic of signing him.
Their opening proposal of €60 million has been turned down, and the Gunners are hopeful of sealing the deal for around €75 million.
While this is going on, Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea are closely monitoring the situation and could enter the pursuit.
Mudryk is determined to join the Gunners this summer, but the Blues are ready to pounce if their rivals can't negotiate a fee for him.
The 21-year-old is regarded as one of the best young wingers in European football. He has made 18 goal contributions this term.
He has been dubbed as the Ukrainian Neymar as a result, and Shakhtar are said to be eyeing at least €100m to part ways with him.
It will be interesting to see whether Chelsea can take advantage of the Gunners' indecision in the pursuit of the highly-rated star.
