Man Utd close to signing Cameroonian striker?

Aboubakar to Man Utd?

Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of landing Al-Nassr striker Vincent Aboubakar on loan.

The Red Devils have been eyeing a new centre-forward and it appears they have found their solution.

According to Saudi outlet OKAZ, the club have already made a loan move for Aboubakar and he is expected to accept the proposal.

Fenerbahce have also made an offer for the 30-year-old, but the Cameroonian is said to be impressed by United's desire to land him.

Aboubakar has an impressive scoring record from his time in Europe. He scored nearly 100 goals for the likes of Porto and Benfica.

He was superb for both clubs in the European competitions and could be a handy signing for the Red Devils for the rest of the season.

If he were to join United, it would free up a foreign quota spot for Al-Nassr to register former Red Devils star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo will be free to make his debut for the Saudi Arabian outfit once he serves his two-game suspension imposed by the FA.
