Chelsea planning to sign another striker this month?
Chelsea are reportedly planning to sign another striker during the ongoing transfer window.
The Blues recently bolstered their attack with the loan signing of Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid. They don't have the option to buy him.
The Portuguese should improve their creativity in the final third, but Sky Sport Germany claim that the club are eyeing another striking option.
Borussia Monchengladbach's Marcus Thuram is currently on their radar, but the Frenchman needs to be persuaded to join them this month.
Thuram has had a top campaign with the German outfit. He has amassed 13 goals and four assists from just 17 appearances in all competitions.
Chelsea consider him as a priority this month, but Thuram is reportedly looking to see out his contract which expires at the end of June.
The World Cup finalist is said to fancy a free transfer in the summer such that he can receive a big payday and a handsome signing-on fee.
Thuram has also been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United.
