Manchester United have made the decision to keep defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka beyond the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old played just four minutes of competitive football before the World Cup and he was touted to leave this winter.

However, the situation has completely changed over the past few weeks where Wan-Bissaka has stood out from the right-back role.

The defender has benefitted from Diogo Dalot's injury concerns and he recently stood out in the Manchester derby win.

It is now reported by The Sun that United prefer to keep him for the rest of the season and don't plan to offload him this month.

Crystal Palace were looking to re-sign Wan-Bissaka recently, but they have now been handed a blow in their transfer pursuit.

United have continuously been linked with right-back targets this month, but they may wait until the summer to make a fresh signing.

The decision could be based on Wan-Bissaka's progress. Erik ten Hag will be hoping to see more in an attacking point of view.
