Arsenal and Chelsea to swoop for Amadou Onana
Arsenal and Chelsea could compete for the services of Everton midfielder Andre Onana this month, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
The Belgium international joined the Toffees from Lille in the last transfer window but he is already being linked with an exit.
Everton made the decision to sack Frank Lampard as their manager following a dreadful run that sees them lying in the drop zone.
With his exit, Onana seems to be eyeing a new challenge while the Toffees also need funds in order to bolster their frontline.
Newcastle United have already expressed an interest in his signature, but Chelsea and Arsenal are also hot on the trail of him.
Onana has been a superb performer for the Merseysiders this term. He has been by far their best player over the entire season.
He has impressed with his tackling, ability to win ground and aerial duels as well as his work rate over the course of 90 minutes.
Everton could sell him for around £50 million.
