Arsenal set to make improved offer for Moises Caicedo
Arsenal are set to make an improved transfer offer to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo, according to The Telegraph.
The Gunners have identified the Ecuadorian as their prime target before the transfer deadline, but now need to convince the Seagulls.
The South Coast outfit insist that they don't want to sell the 21-year-old, but the Gunners are still expected to come up with a fresh proposal.
Their opening bid was a fixed fee of £60 million. They could increase their proposal to around £75m to persuade Brigton into selling him.
Caicedo is one of the best performing defensive midfielders in the Premier League. He has excelled with his ability to win 50/50 duels.
At just 21, he is already playing at a hugely impressive level and has the ability to evolve into a world-class performer in future.
Arsenal obviously realise his immense potential and they are determined to land his signature ahead of London counterparts Chelsea.
