Arsenal likely to unveil second signing this weekend
Arsenal are likely to confirm their second signing of the summer transfer window this weekend.
The Gunners recently announced the arrival of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea. The Spaniard has been signed as David Raya's backup.
The London giants are now poised to confirm the acquisition of Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, who has undergone his medical.
A formal announcement was expected earlier on Thursday, but the plans were postponed after the unfortunate demise of Liverpool star Diogo Jota.
Arsenal have decided to pay respect to the former Portuguese star and have therefore delayed the confirmation of Zubimendi's deal for a few days.
It is most likely that the Spaniard will formerly become an Arsenal player on Saturday or Sunday. Christian Norgaard will be the next in line.
The Brentford captain has accepted a new challenge with the Gunners. All the paperwork has been submitted to sign the Danish midfielder.
Valencia's centre-back Cristhian Mosquera could join the club too.
