Arsenal midfielder suffers fresh injury in training
Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe has been left out of the FA Cup fourth round tie at Manchester City after a fresh injury.
The Gunners graduate recently made his comeback after a groin surgery, but he appears to have suffered another setback.
Smith Rowe has been left out of tonight's game with a thigh issue, though the injury is not said to be serious, as per football.london.
Manager Mikel Arteta is hopeful that the young playmaker will be available for the Premier League game at Everton next week.
The Gunners are top of the league standings with 50 points from 19 games. They are five points ahead of Manchester City with a game in hand.
They need plenty of squad depth to stay in the title race and Arteta will be hoping that Smith Rowe has only suffered a minor concern.
The London giants recently signed Leandro Trossard to bolster their attack and his experience should be handy for the season run-in.
