Rafael Leao makes AC Milan contract decision
Chelsea target Rafael Leao has no plans of leaving AC Milan in the near future, according to Sky Sport Italy.
The Portuguese has been in fine form for the Rossoneri this term, registering nine goals and nine assists from 27 games.
His current deal with the club expires in the summer of 2024 and talks are ongoing over a possible renewal beyond that period.
Amidst this, there has been talk of interest from Chelsea, but it appears Leao has no desire of leaving the Italian champions soon.
Leao is fully committed to the long-term project with the Milan giants and he is ready to put pen-to-paper on a new improved contract.
There is currently a difference in wages to be sorted out, but both the player and the club are confident of finding a resolution.
AC Milan have had a poor defence of their Serie A title this season and they are currently fifth in the table on goal difference.
