Newcastle United enter race to sign Declan Rice

Newcastle United are ready to battle Chelsea and Arsenal in the race to sign West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice this summer.
The Magpies have been the surprise packages of the Premier League season and they are currently fourth in the table with 40 points.
The Tyneside outfit have not splashed the cash on recruits thus far but there could be a huge spending spree if they qualify for Europe.
According to The Telegraph, a marquee midfielder is one of their top targets and they are currently monitoring the progress of Rice.
The 24-year-old has his sights on leaving the Hammers this summer and he is likely to be the subject of high-profile transfer interest.
Chelsea and Arsenal are huge admirers of him but the London duo could face strong competition from the Magpies for his services.
Eddie Howe's side may need to qualify for the Champions League in order to boost their chances of landing the Hammers captain.
