Liverpool midfielder suffers fresh injury blow

Liverpool have suffered a fresh injury blow with Thiago picking up a hip injury ahead of the Merseyside derby.

The Merseyside outfit have had dismal league campaign and they are currently lying 10th in the standings with 29 points.

The club are scheduled to face rivals Everton tomorrow, but ahead of the game, they have suffered another setback.

Thiago picked up a hip flexor issue earlier in the week and he has now been ruled out for a period of around 4 weeks.

Jurgen Klopp has come under immense scrutiny from some fans and he desperately needs a victory over the Toffees.

The Reds are currently 12 points behind fourth-place Newcastle United with two games in hand.

There is still a good chance that they can qualify for the Champions League, provided they can string in a winning streak.
