Manchester United are set to face a huge loss as they look to part ways with Harry Maguire during the summer transfer window.

The centre-back has been a fringe player under manager Erik ten Hag this term and he is reportedly eyeing a move away from the club.

The Mancunian giants bought him from Leicester City for a staggering £80m four years ago and they are now ready to cut their losses.

With Ten Hag said to be eyeing a new central defender, the hierarchy are prepared to sanction his sale for around £40m.

Aside from Maguire, there is also speculation that Victor Lindelof could head for the exit door amid his limited game time.

United currently have their sights on landing Monaco centre-back Axel Disasi, who is also on the radar of Bayern Munich.
