Benoit Badiashile and Noni Madueke set to miss Dortmund game

Chelsea duo won't face Dortmund

Chelsea duo Benoit Badiashile and Noni Madueke won't play any part in the upcoming Champions League trip to Borussia Dortmund.

The Blues made several signings in January, but according to UEFA rules, they could only make three changes to their Champions League squad.

Joao Felix, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez were included in the updated squad this month, but the rest of them won't be featuring.

Among them are Benoit Badiashile, David Datro Fofana and Noni Madueke. The trio won't be playing in Europe for the rest of the campaign.

Badiashile has been a key player for Chelsea in central defence since joining from Monaco. He should be a big miss in the Champions League.

In his absence, we could see Kalidou Koulibaly playing in the left centre-back role. The Senegal star has much to prove for the Blues.

He has had a poor debut season with the London giants and there are suggestions that he could be sold at the end of the campaign.
