Newcastle United keen on signing Arsenal defender
Newcastle United are considering a summer move for Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney, according to Football Insider.
Tierney has played second fiddle to Oleksandr Zinchenko in the left-back position for most of the current campaign.
As a result, there is speculation over his future and it is reported that the Magpies are lining up a summer transfer
It is added that the north London giants could sanction his sale for a fee of around £30 million when the season ends.
Aside from Tierney, there are suggestions that the Gunners could part ways with midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga.
Lokonga barely played in the top-flight this season until he was loaned out to Crystal Palace at the turn of the year.
The Belgian is said to be desperate for regular game time and he is likely to head for the exit door during the summer.
Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League table with 54 points, two ahead of Manchester City with a game in hand.
