Man Utd enter Hojlund race

Manchester United have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund at the end of the season.

The young Dane has been in stunning form in 2023, scoring six goals and providing one assist from just 10 appearances.

The Gunners have been closely monitoring him, but Tipsbladet claim that the Red Devils are also in the hunt for his services.

Erik ten Hag's side are 'very interested' in signing the 20-year-old, who has been dubbed as the new Erling Braut Haaland.

The youngster has similar traits to Haaland. He is also left-footed and strong in duels. He also possesses excellent speed.

Hojlund has yet to reach the heights of Haaland, but Atalanta are aware of his potential and won't sell him for cheap.

The Serie A outfit bought him from Sturm Graz for just €17m, but they are expected to demand around €50m for his sale.

Apart from United and Arsenal, Real Madrid, Napoli and Juventus are also interested in signing the highly-rated striker.
