Arsenal confident of signing Declan Rice?
Arsenal are reportedly confident of signing West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice during the summer transfer window.
The Gunners bolstered their midfield department with Jorginho in January but they are expected to pursue a marquee signing this summer.
Rice is apparently the top name on their radar and journalist Ben Jacobs claims that the hierarchy are confident of securing a summer deal.
Chelsea are also keen on landing the England star but the Gunners seem to have the edge with Champions League football.
The Gunners are currently 21 points ahead of fifth-placed Liverpool and it is a matter of time before they qualify for the elite competition.
Rice has spent his entire career with the Hammers but he is expected to leave them in the summer after snubbing a new long-term deal.
With just over two years left on his contract, the east London outfit are likely to sell him for a fee between £70-80 million in the summer.
