Chelsea handed major injury boost for Dortmund game
Chelsea have been handed a major injury boost ahead of the Champions League meeting against Borussia Dortmund.
The Blues lost 1-0 to the German outfit in the first leg of the round of 16 tie and they have the opportunity to make amends tomorrow.
Ahead of the game, manager Graham Potter has confirmed a major injury boost with James back in full training with his teammates.
Potter added that the England star will be assessed but it is widely expected that he will make the starting line-up against Dortmund.
The Blues recently ended a two-match losing run with a 1-0 win over Leeds United. Potter went with his preferred 3-4-3 formation.
He is likely to stick with the same tactical set-up against Dortmund, considering the club will be without Thiago Silva once more.
The Brazilian is sidelined for another five weeks after picking up a knee injury during the London derby defeat at Tottenham Hotspur.
The failure to progress to the quarter-final stage of the Champions League could potentially lead to the dismissal of Potter.
