Erik ten Hag determined to sign Bundesliga defender?
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly keen on landing Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong this summer.
The Red Devils currently have Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka as their preferred options in the right-back department.
Dalot started the campaign as an undisputed choice in the role but Wan-Bissaka has had plenty of game time this year.
Both players have been impressive under Ten Hag but Bild claim that the manager is keen on landing Frimpong from Leverkusen.
The Netherlands international has had a superb season for the Bundesliga outfit, bagging seven goals and nine assists in 33 games.
He is widely expected to move on during the summer and the Red Devils are reportedly weighing up an approach for his services.
Frimpong was valued in the region of €25m before the World Cup, but he is likely to cost more than €40m amid his fine form.
Aside from United, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan have also been credited with an interest in the 22-year-old full-back.
