Man Utd firmly in the race to sign Bundesliga sensation

Manchester United are firmly in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham this summer.

The 19-year-old is one of the best young midfielders in world football at the moment and he has been touted to leave Dortmund.

Real Madrid and Liverpool have already made contact with his entourage but The Telegraph claim that United are also in the mix.

United boss Erik ten Hag is eyeing a marquee central midfielder and Bellingham is one of the top names on his wishlist.

Bellingham has yet to make a decision over his next club but Champions League football could be one of his top priorities.

United are currently six points ahead of fifth-placed Newcastle United and look in a good position to qualify for the Champions League.

They can also make the competition by winning the Europa League. The club are scheduled to face Sevilla in the quarter-final stage.

Bellingham could cost in upwards of £100 million this summer.
