Chelsea and Arsenal want to sign Champions League winner?
Chelsea and Arsenal are ready to go head-to-head to sign Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio this summer.
The Spaniard has been a key player for Los Blancos with over 250 appearances but he is eager to move on.
Asensio's current deal expires at the end of the June and TeamTalk claim that the Blues and Gunners want to sign him.
Manchester City are also in the mix for the Spain international, but they may not guarantee him with regular game time.
Asensio has been in good form this term with seven goals and five assists, but he has averaged just 35 minutes per outing.
Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti clearly does not see him as part of his starting XI and Asensio is now prepared to part ways.
Aside from the Premier League clubs, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in his services.
They could be lucrative choices for the playmaker if he decides to continue in the Spanish top-flight after leaving Madrid.
