Erik ten Hag confirms Christian Eriksen injury boost
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Christian Eriksen will be back from an ankle injury in April.
The Dane suffered the setback against Reading in the FA Cup back in January and he has since been on the sidelines.
The midfielder has yet to be involved in training, but Ten Hag has indicated that he could return at some point next month.
He told MUTV: "Yes, some point in April, he will be back. He is doing really well, really good in his rehab. The progress is very good and we have to see how that develops in the coming weeks."
In Eriksen's absence, the likes of Fred and Marcel Sabitzer have played in the number eight role over the past few months.
However, neither have offered the same level of creativity as Eriksen and the Dane's return would be a huge boost for United.
The Red Devils will host Fulham in Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final.
