Man Utd very interested in signing World Cup finalist

Manchester United are very interested in landing Monaco defender Axel Disasi in the next transfer window.

The Frenchman was on the radar of the Red Devils last summer, but they decided to sign Lisandro Martinez from Ajax instead.

However, Foot Mercato claim that they could return for him at the end of the season with Erik ten Hag eyeing a powerful centre-back.

The Red Devil boss wants to pursue another central defender who is strong in winning duels and Disasi has been identified as a top target.

The Frenchman has made huge strides over the past couple of years. He was recently involved with his national side at the World Cup.

United have already made contact with his entourage over a transfer and reports claim that they could make a proposal in the coming weeks.

Monaco have no plans of selling him for less than €50 million this summer. Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on him.
