Chelsea plotting swoop for Inter Milan star?

Chelsea are planning an ambitious approach to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer.

The west London giants currently have Kepa Arrizabalaga as the first-choice keeper under Graham Potter with Edouard Mendy being the deputy.

Mendy has not played since the World Cup due to different reasons and it is now claimed that he could be offloaded this summer.

According to Inter Live, the Blues are keen on bringing Onana from Inter and could include Mendy as a makeweight in the deal.

Onana has been in top form for the Nerazzurri since his move from Ajax last summer, but he dreams of playing in the Premier League.

It is left to be seen whether the Nerazzurri are open to the proposal. Inter have a good relationship with Chelsea, but may not sell Onana easily.

The Serie A giants could demand as much as €50 million for the Cameroonian even though Mendy is included as part of the transfer.
