Man Utd handed huge boost in top-four pursuit
Manchester United have been handed a huge boost in their top-four pursuit with Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur dropping points.
The Magpies suffered a heavy 3-0 at Aston Villa earlier today. This was followed by Spurs' shock 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth at home.
United are the biggest winners after those results and they have the opportunity to capitalise with a third straight league game on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils face Nottingham Forest away from home tomorrow and they should be favourites to win despite the huge number of injuries.
Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho are all injured but United should come on top comfortably.
A victory over Forest tomorrow will see the Red Devils move to third in the league standings, three points ahead of Eddie Howe's Newcastle United.
Meanwhile, the club could move six points clear of Spurs in fifth. They would still have a game in hand over the north London outfit.
