Man Utd suffer double injury blow ahead of Sevilla game

Man Utd duo injured ahead of Seville trip

Manchester United have suffered a double injury blow ahead of their Europa League clash against Sevilla on the road.

The Red Devils drew 2-2 during the first leg of the quarter-final tie and they will now travel to Seville for the return leg.

Ahead of the game on Thursday, the club have suffered a double injury blow.

Tyrell Malacia sustained a knock to his knee during the first leg and he was absent for the weekend's Premier League game.

Meanwhile, Marcel Sabitzer also missed the 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday despite travelling with the squad.

Sabitzer was included in the starting line-up to face Forest but was withdrawn after picking up an injury in the warm-up.

United boss Erik ten Hag did not provide any further update on the player and he could now be absent to face Sevilla on the road.

Sabitzer scored both goals in the first leg at Old Trafford and could be a huge miss for the Red Devils for the away trip this week.
