Man Utd strongly interested in French defender

Manchester United are strongly interested in signing Monaco defender Axel Disasi at the end of the campaign.

The Red Devils are likely to strengthen their squad this summer and they could target multiple signings from the transfer market.

With Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof linked with exits, a new centre-back could be signed in the summer transfer window.

It is now reported by Ignazio Genuardi that the club are strongly interested in pursuing the services of Disasi from Monaco.

Disasi was on the radar of Arsenal in the summer of 2020 but he made the switch to Monaco instead on a cut-price deal.

The 25-year-old has since developed into a top-class footballer and he is now keen on securing a bigger challenge elsewhere.

Disasi has his sights on moving to the Premier League and it seems United could have the upper hand in the transfer pursuit.

The club have already held talks with his representative and could make a formal bid to sign him in the next few weeks.
