Man Utd begin process to sign Premier League striker
Manchester United have reportedly opened talks with the entourage of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
The Red Devils are keen on landing a marquee striker in the next transfer window and Kane is one of the players on their radar.
The England international is hugely admired by manager Erik ten Hag and it is now claimed that initial talks are underway with his camp.
Kane has been committed to the north London giants over the years but could move on as he enters the final year of his contract in July.
Despite scoring over 260 goals, Kane has not won any kind of silverware with Spurs. They recently suffered a 6-1 loss to Newcastle United.
Hence, the club are clearly on a downslide and Kane could be tempted to join the Red Devils in order to win trophies in his career.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is reluctant to sell Kane to a Premier League rival but a £100m fee could be sufficient to seal the deal.
