Man Utd target French striker but Bayern favourites

Manchester United are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani but Bayern are leading the race.

The Red Devils are looking for a marquee striker in the summer transfer window and Kolo Muani is one of their top targets.

Positive talks have been held with his agent but Sport1 claim that Bayern are clear favourites to land his signature this summer.

The Bavarian were initially skeptical over a bid but their stance has changed after watching him closely in recent months.

Meanwhile, Muani is also keen to continue in the German top-flight and he has given the go-ahead to join Bayern this summer.

A deal has not materialised as things stand. Frankfurt value their striker at €100 million and they are unlikely to negotiate.

Bayern will have to pay the figure in the next transfer window or else, United could enter the race for the centre-forward.

Liverpool could also make an approach for the former Nantes striker, according to reports from German outlets this month.
