Chelsea & Man Utd to miss out on Argentine star?

Chelsea and Manchester United could miss out on signing Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez this summer.

The 25-year-old has had a superb season for the Nerazzurri, bagging 24 goals and 10 assists in all competitions.

This has led to speculation that he could leave the club but reports in Italy dismiss the prospect of him leaving.

Martinez is clearly content with his time in Milan and the hierarchy are planning to reward him with a new deal.

It is further added that the Serie A giants are prepared to hand him the captain's armband on a permanent basis.

The news will come as a big blow for the likes of Chelsea and United, who have been tracking his progress this term.

Martinez has been linked with a Premier League move for many seasons but he now appears keen to stay put at Inter.

He could end the season on a bright note by winning the Champions League. Inter lead Milan 2-0 after the first leg of the semi-final.
