Chelsea want Rayan Cherki to replace Christian Pulisic

Chelsea have identified Rayan Cherki as a potential replacement for Christian Pulisic, who is on his way to AC Milan.

The west London giants recently sanctioned the sale of Pulisic to the Rossoneri. He is expected to be unveiled by the Serie A outfit tomorrow.

With his departure, the Blues are eyeing a quality replacement in the squad, and ESPN claim that they are lining up an approach for Cherki.

The 19-year-old is regarded as one of the best young attackers in Ligue 1. Last season, he managed five goals and six assists in 39 games.

The teenager has excelled with his dribbling and duel winning ability, and he has the hallmarks of becoming a top-class attacker in future.

Lyon currently value their prized asset at €40 million, but could be willing to accept less amid their concerns with Financial Fair Play.

They have a good relationship with Chelsea, having sold Malo Gusto to them in January. The Blues will fancy signing Cherki too.
