Tottenham planning surprise move for Chelsea defender

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning a surprise move to sign Chelsea defender Levi Colwill this summer.
The north London giants are keen on bolstering their central defence, and they are looking at multiple transfer options.
Wolfsburg's Micky van de Ven has been their main target, but they are currently struggling to find an agreement.
One of the alternatives is Colwill from the Blues, but the west London club are likewise reluctant to sanction his sale.
The 20-year-old has less than two years remaining on his contract, but the Blues remain optimistic of keeping him.
Colwill is due to hold face-to-face talks with manager Mauricio Pochettino and could be assured with regular game time.
The Blues are also planning to extend his deal for another three years, though that may depend on his first-team minutes.
If he becomes a regular part of the manager's plans next term, there is no reason why he would snub a renewal with the Blues.
